Peter Hargitay- A Little Glimpse of His Great Career

Born in Year 1951, Peter Hargitay is a cohort of the European Consultancy Network as well as a public relations executive.

As a professional PR executive, he remarkably represented Union Carbide in the outcome of the Bhopal disaster (the world’s worst industrial tragedy that transpired on the night of 2-3 December 1984 at the Union Carbide India Limited, UCIL, a pesticide plant in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh)   and commodities trader and deserter Marc Rich.

During his 35 year old long career in crisis management, lobbying, crisis communication and Government relationships he has acquired many achievements.

In the Mid-seventies when he was a young consultant, he was hired from the university by the country’s most prominent firm.  Then in 1980, he started his own consultancy.  Within a period of 10 years, the company grew into a European force.

The Consulting Group Europe, an agency owned by Peter Hargitay rapidly urbanized through its 15 offices in 13 European countries.  Afterwards, in 1992 he sold his group to his partner individuals and then moved to the Caribbean.

In the Caribbean, he wrote and produced the documentaries and then got a new family with his wife Jamaican, the 18 years old citizen, and attorney-at-law.
